Big Brothers Big Sisters

Founded in 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States. Research has found that the organization effectively helps children make the positive choices needed in order for them to stay in school, and to graduate from high school or earn their GED.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas, headquartered in San Antonio ranks as one of the 10 largest agencies of the national organization, and supported 3,082 children in one to one mentoring relationships in 2008. TXUE is proud that announce that their staff was able to raise a combined total of $3,152 for this year Bowl for Kids Sake benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters! Our four teams had a great time bowling out at Bandera Bowl and we can't for next years event.
